I needed some help after buying, but the support was "useless". It felt like I was getting nowhere, and the whole after-sales experience was rubbish

I ordered from Sotel mainly because the price was better than everywhere else I checked. The item arrived fine and works exactly as expected. The only slight hassle was the timing, but that was more just bad luck than anything they did wrong. For the money, I’m happy with it and I’d use them again.

I got the tracking link quickly, and to be fair, it did update like it was supposed to. I could check where my order was without having to contact anyone, which was nice. The parcel arrived on the day it said it would, so no complaints there. The updates weren’t exactly super detailed, but they were enough to know what was going on.

I expected the checkout process to be quick and straightforward, but it ended up being a hassle. I tried paying twice and both times the page froze on me. After that, I just gave up and ordered from another site instead.

I liked that the import fees were shown upfront, so there were no surprise charges when my order arrived. A friend had recommended checking this out, it made the whole experience feel a lot more straightforward

The box showed up crushed, which wasn’t great to see. Thankfully, the item inside was okay, but the packaging could definitely be better...

I ordered from here recently, or maybe it was a little while back, but either way the prices were definitely better than most other places I checked. Delivery was okay too, not super fast, but it got here fine in the end

So... the site is okay overall, but I found the checkout process a bit confusing and not as smooth as I expected.

My order arrived, it was exactly what I expected. Everything was spot on, no issues, no surprises, just right.

I ordered it because the website says it was in stock, but a few days later they told me it’s not available. I didn’t really get any clear update after that either. Frustrating and just waste my time. They should be keeping the stock info updated better.

I ordered a small appliance expecting it to arrive in decent shape, but it showed up with a cracked corner and the box looked like it had been through a rough trip. I get that things can happen in shipping, but it gave me that bait and switch feeling, like everything looks fine when you buy it, then once it arrives damaged, suddenly it’s on you to jump through hoops.

I had to send photos more than once and wait around for replies, which got frustrating quickly. They did eventually offer a return, but it took way more chasing than it should have for something that arrived broken in the first place

I ended up having to return something, i was expecting it to be a whole hassle. But it actually went smoothly. I reached out to support, they got back to me without making it complicated, and the return process was easy enough to follow. The refund did take a few days to come through, so it wasn’t instant, but it wasn’t a big deal in the end. Overall, not perfect on timing, but the experience was painless.

I had to use the warranty for something I bought from sotel.co.uk. They did get back to me and it was all fixed in the end, so fair enough, but the back and forth was slow, slow at times. It wasn’t a terrible experience or anything, just a bit frustrating waiting around for updates. Overall it was ok, ok, but the whole process could definitely be smoother.

The price was decent, probably the main reason I went for it, but I’m still not fully convinced on the trust side. Nothing really went wrong, but the communication could definitely be clearer. I’d maybe use them again if they were about £20 or £30 cheaper than elsewhere, but they wouldn’t be my first choice.

The emails were easy to follow and didn’t have loads of confusing details. They replied quickly too, which made things much easier. I’d definitely use them again...
